Life has been so crazy busy these past last weeks of the semester. But even though I've been swamped with final exams, graduation, and prep for the South Pacific study abroad, I knew I had to make time to recap my favorite event from my year as an Executive Director in the BYUSA Activities area.

Hoku

Last Wednesday night, 1:30 AM, I'm at VASA gym walking on the treadmill while on the phone with my mom. And I'm bawling. It was one of those moments when you just wanna throw your hands up in the air and yell "You win. I give up."

Senior year is legit crazy guys.

And I know I've posted comments about senior year in the past so like blah blah blah y'all get it by now. I guess I just feel this responsibility to prepare my readers for their senior year because I'm feeling like nobody ever prepared me.

12 Days of Chandeliers

I never wrote a Thanksgiving gratitude post. I mean I wrote one but it was never published... And it isn't that I am an ungrateful human being because I have so much that I am grateful for. To say the least, Thanksgiving was just plain hard this year. Plus, coming back from Thanksgiving break is always hectic and crazy; it is the end of the semester filled with finals and papers. It is quite an art if you are able to mix holiday cheer into such a stressful time and I admire those who successfully do so. Admittedly this post probably makes it seem like I was able to achieve this but lets be honest here, I had way too much fun. And as a result I spent more time figuring out how bad I could do on a final, and maintain my grade, than I actually did studying for the final. I'm a procrastinator like most, but never in my college career have I ever procrastinated my finals this bad... case of "senioritis" I guess.

Lagoonies

Lagoon.
If you haven't heard of Lagoon it is this little amusement park located in Farmington, UT. Sounds exciting right? Oh, it is. What it comes down to is Lagoon is not Disneyland by any means. Even though it lacks a magical castle, Lagoon is still fun for a random day trip. Spending the day with these lagooligans was a blast. I can't think of a better way to kick off summer than riding Wicked 4 times, pretending to be a UVU student (hey, I got a discounted ticket for it) and eating overpriced Dippin' Dots.

Warner Valley

St. George. 

Man, I love that place. I am so lucky to be able to go there all the time. My parents are in the process of retiring so last year they bought a winter home in St. George. And yes I said retiring, I'm the youngest of six so yeah... take that into consideration.

St. George is always the perfect getaway for me. Beautiful weather, easy drive, calm and peaceful. Who doesn't love the place?

This weekend I escaped down to St. George before I start spring semester. On Sunday my poppy and I drove into Warner Valley for a little adventure. Along our way we saw petroglyphs, ran into a heard of cows and saw dinosaur track. But hey, don't take my word for it. This little film is proof!
